We're seeking a talented Architectural Designer to join our team focused on creating innovative ADU solutions for Boston properties. This role combines creative design with technical proficiency to develop beautiful, functional, and code-compliant accessory dwelling units tailored to Boston's unique architectural context and zoning requirements.
Responsibilities
- Create detailed ADU designs and construction documents using Revit and AutoCAD
- Develop 3D visualizations and renderings for client presentations
- Collaborate with engineering and construction teams to ensure buildable designs
- Ensure designs comply with Boston zoning regulations and building codes
- Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions and constraints
- Participate in client meetings to understand needs and present design concepts
- Research innovative space-efficient design solutions for small footprints
- Prepare permit application drawings and supporting documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or related field
- 2+ years of experience in residential design
- Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD (required)
- Experience with 3D visualization software

This role is crucial in ensuring our clients have a smooth, transparent experience from initial inquiry through project completion. You'll be the primary point of contact for clients, coordinating between our design, permitting, and construction teams while advocating for client needs.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary client contact throughout the ADU process
- Conduct initial consultations to understand client needs and explain our services
- Coordinate between clients and internal teams (design, engineering, construction)
- Manage client expectations and communicate project updates clearly
- Track project milestones and ensure timely progression
- Prepare and present proposals, contracts, and change orders
- Resolve client concerns promptly and effectively
- Maintain detailed records of client interactions and project status
- Gather and implement client feedback to improve services
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, communications, or related field
- 2+ years of customer success or account management experience
- Experience in construction, real estate, or design industries preferred
